Privacy Policy

The controller of your personal data is BeCool s.r.o., registered at Krajinská 37, 821 06 Bratislava, Slovak Republic (hereinafter "we" or "BeCool"). For questions about the protection of personal data, you can contact us at info@becool.sk.

We only process personal data to the extent you provide it to us directly, in particular through:

• The contact and partnership form — first and last name, phone number, email address, and the content of your message, if any.
• Newsletter sign-up — email address and the event category you've chosen to follow.

• Handling your partnership or cooperation enquiry — based on your consent, or on pre-contractual negotiations.
• Sending email updates about events — based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Communicating with you about your request — based on our legitimate interest in responding to messages we receive.

To run our forms and newsletter, we use external service providers (processors) who process data on our behalf and under contractual safeguards:

• Web3Forms — processing and delivery of the contact/partnership form.
• Haku (hakuapp.com) — managing and sending the email newsletter.

These providers may be based outside the European Economic Area. In that case, we ensure that any transfer of data takes place on the basis of appropriate GDPR safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses). We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

We keep data from the contact and partnership form only for as long as necessary to handle your request. Data processed on the basis of consent (e.g. the newsletter) is kept until that consent is withdrawn. The data is then deleted or anonymised.

With respect to your personal data, you have the right, in particular, to:

• access your personal data,
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
• have your data erased ("the right to be forgotten"),
• restrict processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing,
• withdraw any consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

You can exercise your rights by emailing info@becool.sk. If you believe the processing of your data does not comply with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Republic's Office for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.sk).

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
